Errata
Like everyone, I make mistakes. Im committed to setting
the record straight and will make every effort to right wrongs
in future printings of the hardcover edition and in the paperback.

Here are the flubs that have been discovered since publication:
In the Introduction I refer to the matchup in the 1964 Holiday
Festival between Michigan and Princeton as having taken place
in the finals. In fact, it took place in the semifinals.
The names of Yeoh Choo Hock and Eva Mantell are mispelled in the
Acknowledgments.
In Chapter 15, Likud came to power in 1977, not 1978.
in Chapter 24, Ailene Voisin is a columnist for the Sacramento
Bee, not a beat writer.
